VISUALISING 3D SOLIDS

Hello Everyone!!
Welcome to my very first post on "VISUALISING 3D SOLIDS"

Let us begin by understanding what do we mean by a 3D SOLID.....

3D SOLIDS

An object that has 3 Dimensions : length, breadth and height and occupies space.
Some basic 3D figures are cube, cuboid, sphere, hemisphere, prism and pyramid.

REPRESENTING 3D IN 2D

Every object can be looked at from different angles to get a different view.
A 3D object can be turned into 2D when looked at from one angle.
the common views are :
  1.            TOP VIEW
  2.            SIDE VIEW
  3.            FRONT VIEW

In my next post we will look at Polyhedron and their Types, we will also check out Euler's formula.
Thank you for reading the post, I hope it was helpful. Please comment and share your views.
